What Your Body Count Says About You

What does your body count say about you? The number of people you have slept with says something about you. This isn’t about morals, but about how it impacts your biology and your relationships with others.

1. Testosterone Levels

If you have high levels of testosterone, you have a high libido and strong sexual desire. Every time, you feel the urge to get laid. You just want to get laid, and until you do, you can’t be relaxed.

You’re constantly trying to hook up with people who can satisfy that desire. If your body count is high, it means your testosterone levels are very high compared to someone with low testosterone. Such a person would naturally have a low body count because they aren’t constantly feeling the urge to get laid. Of course, they’re human, so every now and then, they’d want to get laid, but it’s not so strong or frequent.

The next time someone makes a judgment about your high body count, let them know it’s because your testosterone levels are high. It’s part of your biological makeup. It comes from within your system. Until you master the art of controlling that urge, your body count will continue to rise.

2. Friends and Close Relationships

Your body count can affect your relationships. Someone with a high body count tends to have more friends. When you ask people whether they’d rather be friends with a promiscuous person or someone who isn’t, most will say they prefer someone who isn’t. They usually say that to look good.

In reality, many people want to be friends with promiscuous people. People with high body counts are usually extroverted. They’re the life of the party. When they walk into a room, they light it up. There are no dull moments with them. That fun nature attracts people. Because they have more people around them, they meet more people, which means more opportunities to get laid.

If your body count is high, it likely means you have more friends and are more popular. People with low body counts are usually introverted. They don’t like to socialize much, so they have fewer opportunities to get laid.

3. Your Upbringing

If you grew up in a stable environment where people took care of you and provided what you needed, your body count is likely low. You weren’t rushed into adulthood. You enjoyed stability, and it stayed with you.

When you started dating, you were comfortable being with one person. That stability shaped your thinking. People who grew up in unstable environments were often pushed to grow up too fast. Once they started getting laid, there was no stopping. That instability affected their thinking and led to higher body counts.

If your body count is high, it can suggest an unstable upbringing. If it’s low, it can suggest a stable one.

4. Monogamous or Polygamous Nature

People with low body counts are monogamous. They’re content with one person and value exclusive relationships. People with high body counts aren’t interested in exclusivity. They want to be with many people and find being with one person boring.

If you expect exclusivity from someone with a high body count, you’re setting yourself up for cheating. They aren’t wired for that. Expecting full faithfulness from them isn’t feasible. Once you understand that, you can decide how to deal with the consequences.

Whatever your body count is, you should be proud of it. At the end of the day, we aren’t defined by our body count. You can have a high body count and still be a good person. You can have a low body count and still be a terrible person. It’s not about body count alone.
