Brazen up guys, because the love story of our celebrity couple crush, Award-winning Singer, 2face Idibia and Nollywood Actress, Annie Macaulay, is like one from an interesting romance flick.
According to the beautiful screen goddess, she met her beau at the tender age of 15, and that moment was electrifying. At the time, 2Face’s musical career as a member of the defunct boy band group, “Plantashun Boys” was just starting out. They didn’t hit it off in the dating terrain immediately, they started off as friends, and that friendship metamorphosed into a relationship.
The smooth ride of their love boat was hit by a heavy wave when the “Africa Queen” Singer impregnated two different women, Sumbo and Pero, within the same period. That was too much for the Reality TV Star, Annie, to bear and the couple had their first break up. After about a year and a half, their love brought them together again and they continued their relationship from where they stopped.
The media favourites soon welcomed their first child, a baby girl called Isabel. But that wasn’t the end of the drama as Pero gave birth to another child for the Singer, in 2012. Many thought that his action would be the end of their relationship for good, but they were in for a huge shock.
In the same year, the “Enter D Place” crooner, proposed to the love of his life. They tied the knot in a low key legal ceremony on May 1, 2012, in Lagos State. They went on to have a massive well-attended traditional marriage ceremony in the bride’s home state, Akwa Ibom on March 8, 2013, and then a getaway beach wedding in Dubai on March 23, 2013, in the presence of family, friends, loved ones, and fans.
The Nigerian power Couple has since welcomed their second child.
