award for World Footballer of the Year Award for the second time, haven won it in
2008.
The
Striker beat other strong contenders like Argentine and Barcelona player Lionel
Messi and France and Bayern Munich player Franck Ribery who were also nominated
for the award.
Lionel
Messi won the award from 2009 to 2012.
