President
Goodluck Jonathan has finally announced the exit of Bamanga Tukur from the
Chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following Tukur’s
resignation. The President made this known today, January 16, 2014 at the
National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party in Abuja, saying:
“He is not guilty of any offence
and I am going to give him an assignment that is even tougher than the PDP
Chairmanship,” The President told members of NEC.”
I guess everyone is
eager to know who will replace Tukur. I’ll keep you posted on that.
