President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has written an
open letter to the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating
his withdrawal from the party’s activities due to the party’s shortcomings in
areas of morality, discipline, decency and decisions related to the South West
region where he hails from.
