If reports by Encomium Magazine hold water, then the alleged relationship between Top Singer, D'Banj and A list Nollywood Actress, Genevieve Nnaji is just a written script being played out by both of them for publicity. D'banj and Genny were reported to be back together as a couple again sometime in December 2013, after their breakup.
An insider who spoke to the Magazine revealed that the whole display of affection between the two at the event "Club Ultimate" was nothing intimate, saying:
“D’Banj and ‘Genny’, as Geneveive is fondly called, once dated. They were dating when D’Banj paid Genevieve N2 million to feature her in Fall in Love video, before they parted ways. Since then, they have been best friends.”
